NX Filtration, a leading innovator in membrane filtration technology, is proud to announce that its new factory and office have officially received the prestigious BREEAM-NL certification with an 'Excellent' rating. This recognition underscores NX Filtration's dedication to sustainability and its mission to contribute positively to the environment and society.
The new facility exemplifies cutting-edge sustainability through a combination of energy-saving measures, water conservation strategies, and innovative heat recovery solutions. Among the highlights are a large solar field with 1,350 solar panels generating clean energy to power the facility, and advanced energy management systems that optimize efficiency. A key feature is the innovative utilization of waste heat from industrial processes, which significantly reduces energy consumption. Furthermore, the facility incorporates a heat exchange system with a neighboring data center, efficiently leveraging the data center's sustainable heat source to improve overall energy efficiency. Additionally, a greywater system and rainwater infiltration units have been implemented to support water conservation efforts, emphasizing the company’s approach to sustainability.
"Achieving BREEAM-NL 'Excellent' certification underscores our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility," said Floris Jan Cuypers, CEO of NX Filtration.
"We are proud that our facilities contribute to a greener future while delivering economic and social benefits."
NX Filtration’s commitment to innovation and sustainability is evident in its new facility, which not only meets but exceeds the standard BREEAM requirements. By integrating advanced technologies and sustainable practices, NX Filtration continues to set new benchmarks in the water purification industry, providing eco-friendly solutions that improve quality of life.
