NX Filtration, a leading provider of membrane filtration technology, has announced a significant expansion of its operations in Saudi Arabia. The Dutch company has secured a new order to supply its HYDRAcap ultrafiltration modules to Kindasa Water Services Co (KWS), a prominent private potable water supply company in the region.
The new order will see NX Filtration replace all existing modules at KWS's largest water treatment plant in Jeddah. Upon delivery in December 2024, the plant will be equipped with over 800 HYDRAcap modules, boosting its capacity to 65 million liters per day (MLD). This expansion will further enhance KWS' ability to provide clean and sustainable water solutions to the local community.
"We are thrilled to collaborate with NX Filtration on this important project," said Ashraf Alsheikh Khalil, Operation Director at KWS. "Their innovative technology and commitment to quality have exceeded our expectations, and we are confident that this partnership will help us deliver even more reliable and efficient water services."
Rick te Lintelo, sales director at NX Filtration, expressed his enthusiasm about the project, stating, "This is a testament to our shared vision of providing high-quality drinking water to communities in need. We are proud to support KWS in their mission to address the growing demand for water resources in Saudi Arabia."
The collaboration between NX Filtration and KWS marks a significant milestone in the company's expansion in the Middle East. With this new order, NX Filtration is reinforcing its position as a trusted partner for water treatment solutions in the region.
